The Social Society Story
Social Society Charity Group (SSCG) is a philanthropic organization whose mission is to raise money for charities through hosting epic Balls & Galas. These events are much more than Black Tie experiences, they are a way to connect and enrich people throughout society while giving back to the community. Each Ball, Gala or event that SSCG sponsors is represented by a theme as well as a deserving charity.
SSCG was founded in 2020 by Ernest Printzen who has a passion to make a difference and ignite change by encouraging people to donate to multiple charitable causes. He has a continuous goal to raise money and awareness for humanitarian and environmental causes.

What People Are Saying
"I just wanted to say thank you so much for an absolutely amazing event!!! The entire evening was fabulous down to even the tiniest detail. I can only imagine the amount of time, energy and effort that you and your team put into this ball. Everyone looked stunning, an opportunity to attend a formal occasion is so lovely; his town certainly knows how to dress it up! Thank you so much for such a beautiful experience and I hope it was successful beyond your expectations!!!"

As a public relations practitioner, I organize many events and appreciate the details required to plan an upscale, inaugural event such as the Nautical Ball Back Tie Charity Gala. Hats off to the Gala Committee for hosting a five-star event from start to finish, with no detail overlooked. Guests were impeccably dressed in formal attire befitting the Touch of Saint Tropez theme and the elegance of the Balboa Bay Club was the perfect venue. The VIP ticket was worth every penny, to be able to enjoy a lavish VIP welcome reception aboard a 128-foot super yacht and special dinner seating. The cocktail reception with premier champagne, silent auction, fashion show and under-the-sea decor in the ballroom added to a lively evening, and the band, featuring the award-winning singer Ollie Gabriel, kept the dance floor packed until closing time (fair disclosure: some women might have removed their heels just to keep going!). This Ball would be a sell-out every year for its sheer fun, but when you consider it's a charity event benefiting a beloved organization - in this case the Ocean Institute - it's hands-down a must-attend gala!

"It was great to attend the Nautical Ball which highlighted the Ocean Institute charity. I loved the way the Nautical Ball was beautifully decorated and tied the setting in a fun way to raise money while shining the light on who the Ocean Institute is and what they do to support how to be a good steward for our ocean. I think it is amazing that they make sure to educate all generations, through a variety ways in taking care of our oceans. The event. was such a memorable one and I can't wait to attend another. Thank you!"
